I’ve tried a few themes, but they are certainly not interchangeable. Header images in particular, often must be adjusted or changed out with a change of themes. There are some other hiccups.
I prefer to edit in plain html (xhtml) with at least some CSS. The free version here is a bit uncomfortably restrictive for me, but I’m sure I’ll adjust.
